We have scooped another award for our BT Radianz Cloud financial services platform.

We have been voted Best Cloud Provider to the Sell Side at this year's Waters Sell Side Technology Awards.

For the fifth year running, daily news and analysis service Waters Technology has judged us Best Cloud Provider in its annual Sell-Side Technology Awards.

It’s the latest in a series of awards for BT Radianz Cloud, our connectivity and hosting platform for financial services firms.

The winners of this year's Awards were announced on the evening of 5 April at a sit-down meal at the Marriott Marquis, Times Square in Manhattan. In its write-up, the publication highlighted that since the launch of the Sell-Side Technology Awards five years ago, there has been only one winner of the best cloud provider category – BT with its BT Radianz Cloud.

“This latest award further reinforces that the industry appreciates that BT knows and understands its customers and has the capabilities to help them address their industry challenges”

The vendor’s scale is impressive, to say the least, it said. In 2016 alone BT added 101 new customers and 3,313 service connections. It also added 13 new content providers – of which it has over 400 – and over 130 new applications.

The publication also highlighted BT’s acquisition of IP Trade, the Belgium-based provider of unified communications and collaboration technologies for trading floor environments and command-and-control dispatch centers. For more than fifteen years, the BT Radianz Cloud has supported the world’s largest secure networked financial services cloud community. And over all of those the years we’ve consistently celebrated awards for our financial technology services portfolio, something we’re very proud of.

“This latest award further reinforces that the industry appreciates that BT knows and understands its customers and has the capabilities to help them address their industry challenges,” said Michael Woodman, Head of Radianz, BT.

“With advancements like these, don’t be surprised to see BT back in the SST Awards winners’ circle this time next year,” added Anthony Malakian, News Editor, Waters; Deputy Editor Buy-Side Technology.
